Happy Friday my lovely readers!
I am so happy it is finally the weekend because this weekend my family and I are going to visit a pumpkin patch! Do you have a favorite pumpkin patch you love to visit during the Fall season?
It’s so tough to find a good pumpkin patch in Florida. They usually are just pumpkins lined up in a dirt lot or parking area. My husband and I are thinking of taking a short day trip more north and finding one in Georgia. It’s also supposed to be cooler on Sunday so that seems to be the perfect day for us to go.
I’m also having a hard time believing that in a week my oldest daughter will be 3 years old! Where did the time go? She is already showing a big interest in makeup and loves playing with my makeup and brushes. She’s gotten really good at applying blush to her lip- beauty gurus watch out!
Since she has been very interested in makeup and playing with my makeup, I decided to get her own set of cute brushes and a small little makeup palette. I, also, of course picked up a few things for myself as well. I mean her turning 3 years old is also something for me to celebrate too…. That’s what I am telling my husband at least.
Everything is so cute from Too Faced though. I’m definitely thinking of buying more of their products for myself now. There is a sale that happens on her birthday too so, I’m going to have to take advantage of that and buy a few more things.

In other news, I’ve been at home this entire week for vacation ( actually my boss is on vacation and that puts me on vacation). But, I have been doing a lot of baking and cooking while at home. My husband loves pistachios and since we had a bag of them in the pantry, I decided to use them to make a fudge. I used white chocolate in the fudge and I am so happy with how this turned out.
- 4 ounces Ghirardelli White Chocolate
- 1/2 cup almond butter
- 1/2 cup coconut oil
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 2 tsp. Vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup coconut sugar
- 1/4 cup almond flour
- 1- 3.4 oz package of Pistachio flavored pudding
- 6 ounces pistachios
- In a medium saucepan, melt the white chocolate, almond butter, coconut oil, maple syrup and vanilla extract together over medium heat
- Stir in the coconut sugar and cook for approximately 5 minutes
- Reduce heat and stir in the almond flour and pistachio pudding mix
- Remove from heat and add in pistachios
- Pour mixture into an 8 x 8 inch glass dish
- Let set for several hours and then enjoy!
I hope you enjoyed this post and if you aren’t on my notification list already, please add me. I hope you have a wonderful weekend and I look forward to sharing my next post with you on Monday!
