Good morning everyone and a very happy Black Friday to you!

I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving and didn’t eat too much! I know I certainly did! But, everything was so good! It was such a great day spending time with family.

My husband and I went Black Friday shopping last night and we may have picked up a few extra things we did not plan on getting. I can hardly wait for Christmas morning with our girls. This is such a wonderful time of year and it’s my favorite!

I’m curious if any of you went Black Friday shopping or are you more into even just shopping the deals online?

Tonight, when my husband gets home from work, we are going to build a gingerbread house with our kids. This is a first time we will be doing this with them and I think it’s going to become a tradition. My husband also has never watched the Polar Express, and we are going to watch that tonight! If you’ve never seen it, you should, it’s such a beautiful movie especially for this time of the year.

Since, Christmas is just around the corner, I have already been starting my Christmas baking. That’s why today, I wanted to share a super easy and fun recipe that you are sure to enjoy and your kids will love too!

  1. In a large greased saucepan, melt the butter and brown sugar together over medium to low heat stirring occasionally
  2. Reduce and add in the marshmallows and stir until mixed well
  3. Add in the Rice Krispies and mix everything until well blended
  4. Pour mixture into a 9×13 greased pan and spread evenly
  5. Decorate with sprinkles if you desire
  6. Let cool and then enjoy!

Have a wonderful weekend and I look forward to sharing my next post with you on Monday!
